(12-6-99): Not to much happening in Moorhead right now except that school is starting back up.
(12-31-99): No practice today. I'm so glad. However our team is alright. We play well somethimes and not very well other games. we're 2-2 which shows exactly what I just said.
(11-26-98): Basketball started the 23rd with the actual teams. They split up 36 kids onto two teams of 13 evenly matched. I am on the black team and it looks like we'll do pretty good.
(11-15-98): Our soccer banquet was today and
we had a good one. The Varsity coach talked for a while about the
players and gave out the letters. Then we watched a movie with
pictures and short clips of video on the varsity. Of course nothing
about the JV is really noticed.
Also we had a Math League competition a couple days ago and we took
first in our area of 5 teams. I got 11/14 on the individual score
taking 2nd of our schools team to a perfect score of
14/14.
(10-10-98): Soccer ended today with our last game. We tied North Fargo 0-0. we out played them the whole game and during overtime, but just couldn't pull out a win.
(8/5-11/98): Soccer has started captains practice. It's pretty easy. We are practicing at our newest soccer complex with 15 or so fields. I hope to make JV. I know that the coach likes me and I've been on his team for summer U14. He wanted me to try-out last year as an 8th grader, but the school athletic director said I couldn't!
(7/15-20/98): It's been warm all week with 80's and 90's with some rain storms. I have a cabin on Middle Cormront lake. It's the perfect lake except for the fact that the water is high and is rising. We had to sand bag the beach to stop the erosion.
About my town: Moorhead has about 32,320 people give or take a few thousand. The number is about eight years old. Moorhead High School has had pretty good sports teams in hockey, basketball, track and baseball. I will be playing soccer in the fall, basketball in the winter, and I'll run the hurdles and more in track!
